Walt and JaNeil Anderson have opened their new guest house on their sprawling ranch in southwestern New Mexico to limited numbers of guests.
To rejuvenate the mind and soul. Artists: paint plein air. Writers: private time to get that new story together.

Located 25 miles north of Lordsburg, New Mexico, and near the cities of  Silver City, Pinos Altos, Deming NM and Safford, AZ. The guest house is an out-of-the-way retreat for folks looking to get away from it all... literally. Perched in a green valley near the Gila River alongside the Andersons' home, the guest house offers huge open vistas without another person or house in sight. Dark night skies, the gentle sounds of the Gila River and quiet prairie landscapes abound.

Western figurative artist JaNeil Anderson's paintings reflect her life and work in the Southwestern United States, and depicts Native Americans, cowboys and their families in portraits that are both intimate and telling.

Often focusing on personal moments or on simple details of everyday life, JaNeil's work shows the American frontier in small segments, with personal emphasis. Walt Anderson's custom cabinets and fine woodworking are used throughout the Southwest in distinctive homes, both new construction and renovations.

Walt's projects incorporate alder, mesquite, oak, cherry and other fine woods, often highlighting natural grain, knots and other features. Walt builds to homeowner or architectural specifications, or can work with owners to design cabinets, shelves and furniture to perfectly accent a room or home.
